MEET BOBBI:
Hi, I’m Bobbi – the photographer behind Photography by Bobbi, LLC. I’ve been a professional photographer for over seven years, but my connection to storytelling runs much deeper. Before photography, I worked in healthcare as a CNA in a long-term care facility—a job I am still currently working part-time at for over a decade. This experience has taught me how to truly see people, to listen without rushing, and to hold space in moments that matter most.
For a while, I believed healthcare was the path I was meant to follow. But over time, I realized that the kind of care I wanted to offer came in a different form—through creativity, art, and emotion.
As a kid, I promised myself I’d grow up to be someone who truly loved what they did. At one point, I thought success meant making loads of money. Now I know that true success is waking up fulfilled, doing work that lights me up, and making others feel seen, safe, and celebrated.
That’s exactly what I aim to do for you!
I specialize in storytelling-centered photography for every season of life: families, motherhood, milestones, love stories, weddings, engagements, boudoir, and beyond. But I also create art that explores deeper truths—mental health, body positivity, and moments that don’t always fit into neat societal boxes.
I’m not here to stage perfection. I’m here to preserve presence.

TO ME, PHOTOGRAPHY IS ABOUT
My photography and the experience I give my clients is deeply personal. It reflects my journey and the things I’ve learned about self-love, confidence, and what beauty really means.
Growing up, I struggled with severe acne, and now I live with inflammatory rosacea. It’s part of me and my story, and honestly, part of how people recognize me. If I edited that out of photos, I wouldn’t look like myself. That’s why I feel so strongly about embracing realness in my work. I want to normalize real skin, already perfect imperfections, and anything else society often tells us to hide or keep to ourselves.
When I first started photographing people, I was surprised by how many would ask me to change something about themselves. “Can you slim me down?” “Can you remove my stretch marks?” “Can you make my skin flawless?” And while I can do those things, that’s not my mission.
I don’t want people to feel like they need to be retouched into something unrecognizable. I want them to feel confident as they are—in their own skin and in the present moment. Your skin, your body, your scars, your quirks, your smile... they tell your story. And your story is worth honoring.
I don’t want to be known as the Photoshop photographer. I want to be known as the one who helps people feel empowered, seen, and celebrated exactly as they are.
Because to me, photography isn’t about perfection. It’s about presence, connection, and truth.
